Phu Quoc Island, in Kien Giang province, was recently selected by Singapore-based Channel News Asia (CNA) as one of the 25 most worthwhile destinations to visit in 2025.
According to CNA , with its numerous small islands, 150km long coastline, and vast national park, Phu Quoc is "a tropical gem."

Previously, Phu Quoc has also been honored by many prestigious newspapers and magazines. It is the only Vietnamese destination to be included in the list of the world's top islands in the Readers' Choice Awards 2024 organized by Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
In July 2024, the World's Best Awards, organized by the renowned travel magazine Travel+Leisure, also honored Phu Quoc as the second best island in the world, after the Maldives.
Phu Quoc also made it onto DestinAsian's list of the 10 most beautiful islands in Asia . Furthermore, the island was rated by Lonely Planet as a top beach destination in the world and praised by the Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo as a destination that "satisfies all five senses."
Hoi An makes it into the top 10 most romantic destinations in the world. The British magazine Time Out recently honored Hoi An in Vietnam as one of the most romantic destinations in the world.
