Phuoc My: Summarizing the work of preventing crimes, social evils and building the movement of All people to protect national security in 2023

On December 7th, the People's Committee of Phuoc My Ward (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City) held a conference to summarize the work on crime prevention, combating social evils, and building the movement of "All People Protecting National Security" in 2023.

In 2023, the fight against crime and social evils in Phuoc My ward saw positive changes. Emphasis was placed on disseminating information and mobilizing the public to participate in the movement to prevent and combat crime and social evils, as well as building the "All People Participate in Protecting National Security" movement. During the year, functional forces organized 300 patrol shifts with 846 participants; organized 3 intensive campaigns to mobilize the public to attack and suppress crime. Functional forces investigated 38 criminal and public order cases; detected and prosecuted 33 drug-related cases, 3 gambling cases, and 2 prostitution cases; questioned and warned 130 individuals; and organized the signing of commitments to ensure public security for 4,500 people…

In 2024, Phuoc My ward continued to strengthen propaganda efforts regarding the schemes and tactics of hostile forces; promote public awareness of the Party and State's policies and guidelines, as well as the methods and tactics of various types of crime; continue to consolidate and improve the quality of security and order protection models, maintaining the effectiveness of security camera models in residential areas; enhance the effectiveness of coordination in ensuring security and order between bordering areas and security and order clusters; focus on launching intensive campaigns to combat and suppress crime; promote the movement to prevent and combat crime and social evils, and the movement for national security and order protection; strengthen patrol and control work in key areas with complex social evils... contributing to improving security and social safety in the locality.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Phuoc My Ward awarded certificates of commendation to 3 collectives and 7 individuals for their achievements in crime prevention, combating social evils, and building the movement for national security and order in 2023.
