At the event, the organizers presented 231 "Joining Hands in Compassion" gift packages for the Year of the Dragon - 2024 (worth 500,000 VND plus gifts) to households in the ward.
This is a meaningful social welfare program that Ward 5 has maintained every Lunar New Year for many years, thanks to resources mobilized and supported by agencies, organizations, and benevolent individuals.

On this occasion, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ha Sy Dong, presented 25 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND and gifts; Quang Tri Newspaper - Thien Tam Fund, Vingroup Group presented 42 gift packages (worth 600,000 VND each) to poor, near-poor, and particularly disadvantaged families in Ward 5.

It is known that during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon - 2024, Ward 5 connected with, appealed for, and mobilized approximately 400 gift packages to donate to the poor and vulnerable so they could have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet holiday with the motto "no one is left behind".
