PSG failed to win their fifth title of the season after suffering a 0-3 defeat to Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final.
According to Le Parisien, PSG have decided to significantly rebuild their squad after their defeat against Chelsea. Coach Luis Enrique is reportedly no longer placing his trust in a number of players who were loaned out last season, such as Milan Skriniar, Nordi Mukiele, Carlos Soler, Marco Asensio, and Randal Kolo Muani.

These are the top players being offloaded at the Parc des Princes. They are no longer in the Spanish manager's plans.
In addition, players such as Gabriel Moscardo, Lucas Hernandez, Lucas Beraldo, Lee Kang In, and Goncalo Ramos will also be pushed out of the club as they are no longer part of the long-term development plans. If they receive suitable offers, they will most likely have to leave the Parc des Princes.
Notably, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could also be the next name to say goodbye. His current contract expires at the end of the 2025/26 season, but the two sides have yet to reach an agreement on an extension. Recently, Donnarumma has been linked with several big English clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
According to The Sun, Chelsea had considered signing the Italian goalkeeper ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup final. However, Donnarumma is reportedly happy with life in Paris and wants to continue playing for PSG.

Conversely, the Parisian club is also targeting a new central defender to strengthen their defense. The name mentioned by Le Parisien is Illia Zabarnyi, the young star of Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
Illia Zabarnyi was born in 2002 in Ukraine. This player, standing at 1.89m tall, excels in aerial duels and one-on-one challenges. In three seasons at Bournemouth, he made 86 appearances and scored 1 goal. Additionally, Illia Zabarnyi has 49 caps for the Ukrainian national team.
PSG's summer overhaul promises to be one of the hottest topics of the summer transfer window. They have ambitions to dominate both Europe and the world after winning the Champions League last season.
