Professor Thai Van Thanh has been appointed Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Before being elected as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Mr. Thai Van Thanh was the Director of the Department of Education and Training.

On the morning of December 11th, at the 35th session of the 18th term of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, the process of electing an additional Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term was carried out.

The delegates elected Mr. Thai Van Thanh to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the delegates present voting in favor. The resolution recognizing the results of the by-election for the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was passed at the session.

Mr. Thai Van Thanh (born in 1969) is from Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province. He is a Professor and Doctor of Education .

Prior to being elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Thai Van Thanh was the Party Secretary and Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training.

Thus, Nghe An province has 5 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, including: Mr. Bui Thanh An, Mr. Nguyen Van De, Mr. Hoang Phu Hien, Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh and Mr. Thai Van Thanh.

Previously, on November 18th, at the 34th session of the 18th term of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council (2021-2026), Mr. Vo Trong Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was elected Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.
