PV GAS TRADING makes a strong breakthrough in 2025

The year 2025 marks a breakthrough development step of PV GAS TRADING, setting a record in output - revenue and affirming its core role in the gas business chain.

At the 2025 Labor Conference, the impressive results in PV GAS TRADING's production and business performance report showed the Company's mettle, management capacity and strong resilience in a year of volatile world energy markets.

Over the past year, the global LPG market continued to face oversupply, complex geopolitical fluctuations and constant changes in tariff policies of many major economies. The increasingly obvious gap between Brent oil prices and CP prices, along with the addition of new variables, made traditional forecasting models ineffective, while the large fluctuation amplitude of LPG prices significantly increased the risk of inventory and sourcing.

However, in that uncertain, unstable and unusual context, PV GAS TRADING has demonstrated the steadfastness of a key business unit, flexible in operation, proactively responding and effectively taking advantage of market opportunities in the process of the global energy supply chain being rapidly changing and restructuring.

Overcoming many challenges, PV GAS TRADING achieved a record output of 3.78 million tons, equivalent to 185% of the plan, 117% of the management plan and an increase of 23% compared to 2024. This is the third consecutive year that the Company has maintained an output growth rate of over 20%, raising the growth rate for the 2022 - 2025 period to 85%. Domestic wholesale market share exceeded 70%, reaching 71% - the highest level ever, affirming its absolute leading position in the Vietnamese LPG market.

International business activities also recorded strong progress with export and international trading output reaching over 2 million tons, up 43% over the previous year. In particular, PV GAS TRADING officially entered the international LNG market, reaching over 333 thousand tons of LNG and for the first time implementing a multi-modal LNG supply model - tanker combined with rail - with over 40,000 tons of LNG supplied to industrial customers.

Financially, PV GAS TRADING continues to maintain its position as a billion-dollar enterprise with revenue of nearly VND 60 trillion (equivalent to USD 2.26 billion), equal to 186% of the plan and an increase of 12% compared to 2024. This result helps the Company contribute nearly 50% to PV GAS's consolidated revenue, thereby continuing to affirm the role of "growth locomotive" of the Corporation. Average labor productivity reaches nearly VND 1,000 billion/person - a figure that clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of management, streamlined operations and outstanding capacity of the human resources.

Speaking at the Conference, PV GAS General Director Pham Van Phong praised PV GAS TRADING for its outstanding achievements in a year full of fluctuations in the energy market. He emphasized that the Company's continuous high growth and leading position in the gas market in Vietnam demonstrated the correct development strategy, solidarity and strong mettle of all employees. PV GAS leaders expect PV GAS TRADING to continue promoting the spirit of initiative and creativity, promoting digital transformation, optimizing the supply chain and innovating business models to improve competitiveness in the coming period.
