Accordingly, more than 2,000 officials and people in 22 villages in the commune simultaneously cleaned up and repaired landslides on roads, bridges and paths leading to the ginseng growing area.
People used hoes and shovels to dig up dirt and rocks, clearing paths through severe landslides and cut-off points.

Mr. Tran Huu Thin, Vice Chairman of Ngoc Linh Commune People's Committee, said that due to the impact of storms and floods, many traffic routes in the area were seriously eroded, causing villages, production areas and ginseng gardens to be isolated. In this situation, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung directly went to the commune to inspect and direct urgent measures to overcome the landslides, soon open traffic routes and support people to restore production.
To implement this directive, the commune government mobilized the entire population to participate, with the support of hundreds of officers and soldiers from military units.
Forces have been urgently leveling rocks and soil, reopening roads, helping people stabilize their lives soon.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province, said that the unit is deploying the third charity trip to carry 5 tons of necessities including rice, instant noodles, milk, water, candy, clothes, blankets, medicine, medical bandages, sausages and canned food to supply people in Ngoc Linh commune.
Thus, the total amount of relief goods sent by the Department of Industry and Trade to the locality has reached more than 12.5 tons.
