Quang Tri has a new Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade who grew up from the Youth Union movement.

On July 25th, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Office announced that Mr. Vo Van Hung, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, had signed a decision to transfer Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, to work and appoint him as Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade. The appointment is for a term of 5 years, effective from August 1st, 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh was a long-time active member of the Youth Union in Quang Tri.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh (43 years old, from Vinh Giang commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province) holds a Master's degree in Economics and has advanced political theory qualifications.

Prior to his appointment as Deputy Director of the Quang Tri Department of Industry and Trade, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh served as Secretary of the Youth Union of the provincial government agencies, Head of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of the provincial government agencies, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial government agencies and enterprises in Quang Tri province.
