The National Assembly elected the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Chairmen of 2 Committees and approved 2 Deputy Prime Ministers and 3 Ministers.

This morning, October 25, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, continuing the Tenth Session, the National Assembly worked in the Hall, conducting personnel work.

At the meeting, the National Assembly voted to pass 5 Resolutions including:

Resolution of the National Assembly to elect Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong as a member of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly. 442 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 93.25% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 442 delegates approved (equal to 93.25% of the total number of National Assembly delegates, equal to 100% of the total number of National Assembly delegates present).

Resolution on electing Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai as Chairman of the Committee on Science , Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly; electing Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong as Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee; and electing Mr. Le Quang Manh as Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office. 434 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 91.56% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 434 delegates approved (equal to 91.56% of the total number of National Assembly delegates, equal to 100% of the total number of National Assembly delegates present).

Resolution on approving the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra and Mr. Ho Quoc Dung as Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term. 430 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 90.72% of the total number of NA deputies); of which, 429 delegates approved (equal to 90.51% of the total number of NA deputies), and 01 delegate did not vote (equal to 0.21% of the total number of NA deputies).

Resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint a number of Ministers for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Hoai Trung as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tran Duc Thang as Minister of Agriculture and Environment, and Mr. Do Thanh Binh as Minister of Home Affairs. 427 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 90.08% of the total number of NA deputies); of which, 427 delegates approved (equal to 90.08% of the total number of NA deputies, equal to 100% of the total number of NA deputies present).
