New regulations on the number of deputies in departments of commune-level public administrative centers

According to the resolution, specialized departments and equivalent units, public administrative service centers under the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones of provinces and cities are arranged with an average of 2 deputy heads.

In which, the leadership of the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center includes the director (the Vice Chairman of the Commune-level People's Committee does not concurrently hold the position of Director of the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center) and the deputy director equivalent to the deputy head of a department under the Commune-level People's Committee.

The People's Committee at the commune level shall specifically decide on the number of deputy heads of specialized departments and equivalent positions, and the Public Administration Service Center under its management, ensuring that it does not exceed the total number of deputy heads as decided by the competent authority.

The commune-level public administrative service center is an administrative organization under the People's Committee of the commune level, with its own seal and account to perform assigned tasks and powers.

The People's Committee at the commune level decides on the arrangement of reception points and return of administrative procedure settlement results of the commune-level Public Administration Service Center in the locality based on the natural area, population size, socio -economic conditions of the locality and the number of administrative procedure records.

According to Decree 150/2025, specialized departments are organized at the commune level, including: Office of the People's Council and People's Committee advising and assisting the People's Committee at the commune level in performing state management functions in the fields of office, justice, and foreign affairs.

The Economic Department (for communes and special zones) or the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department (for wards and Phu Quoc special zones) advises and helps the People's Committee at the commune level perform state management functions in the following areas: Finance - planning; construction and industry and trade; agriculture and environment.

The Department of Culture and Society advises and assists the People's Committee at the commune level in performing state management functions in the following fields: Internal affairs; education and training; culture, science and information; health.
