Launching the Danang - Singapore Innovation Space

DNO - Within the framework of the opening ceremony of the Da Nang City Innovation and Startup Festival - SURF 2024 on the morning of August 30th, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the venture capital fund Quest Ventures (Singapore), launched the "Da Nang - Singapore Innovation Space".

Accordingly, the "Da Nang - Singapore Innovation Space" is located in Block 71, Singapore. It is expected to generate new ideas, explore smart solutions, and promote sustainable development for both sides.

At the same time, it promotes innovation and entrepreneurship, where researchers, entrepreneurs, and startups/projects can interact, learn, and collaborate, seeking sustainable development directions.

Earlier, in early June 2024, within the framework of the Da Nang Venture and Angel Investment Conference - DAVAS 2024, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology collaborated with Quest Ventures to launch Quest Ventures' innovation and collaboration space in Da Nang.

Quest Ventures' innovation and collaboration space in Da Nang is located in the Vietnam Innovation Hub building (179 Tran Hung Dao Street, An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District).

The Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center and Suwah Innovations Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to support connections and exchanges between the Da Nang and Hong Kong (China) ecosystems.

Also at the event, a cooperation agreement on innovative startup development was signed between the Department of Science and Technology and the Da Nang branch of FPT University.

This includes focusing on coordinating and organizing activities, training courses, and workshops to improve the scientific and technological skills and innovative entrepreneurship of students; guiding the development of training programs on innovative entrepreneurship for students, software and digital content professionals to serve as resources for startups; and connecting students' innovative ideas and products with businesses in need…

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center (under the Department of Science and Technology) and Suwah Innovations Co., Ltd. to support connections and exchanges between the Da Nang and Hong Kong (China) ecosystems; and to promote investment fundraising and product market development for innovative startups from both sides.

In addition, support will be provided to startups, support organizations, incubators, and investors in Da Nang to connect with the startup ecosystem in Hong Kong (China) and vice versa; establishing a Hong Kong (China) innovation space in Da Nang and a Da Nang innovation space in Hong Kong (China) to serve the innovation and startup communities of both sides.
