Starting in November every year, in the villages and hamlets of the Western Nghe An region, poinsettia flowers are in full bloom. For many years now, poinsettia flowers have appeared more and more along the roads to the communes and hamlets throughout the Western districts, especially in places with cold climates and high mountains. Poinsettia was first discovered in 1834, with its special and outstanding color, it is very popular, grown in many countries and used to decorate for Christmas or especially for holidays, Tet in Vietnam.
