The main custard apple output in 2025 of Hai Phong city is estimated at 22,000 tons, a slight decrease compared to the same period last year.

According to the Plant Protection and Crop Production Sub-Department (Department of Agriculture and Environment), farmers in custard apple growing areas in the city are currently focusing on harvesting the last custard apples of the season.

Hai Phong city has 1,640 hectares of custard apple orchards. This year, the city's total custard apple production is estimated at 22,000 tons, a decrease of 0.2% compared to the same period last year. This is due to unfavorable weather conditions during the flowering and fruiting stages. Despite this, thanks to the application of standardized production techniques, Hai Phong custard apples are of good quality, have an attractive appearance, and are favored by consumers.

Hai Phong city has 1,640 hectares of custard apple orchards, mainly concentrated in the western area.

Besides concentrated custard apple cultivation in designated production areas, some custard apple growing areas are cultivated according to VietGAP standards, ensuring quality. With an average selling price of 20,000 – 30,000 VND/kg, custard apple growers in Hai Phong earn a profit of 100 – 120 million VND/ha/year.
