According to the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection (Department of Agriculture and Environment), farmers in custard-apple growing areas in the city are currently focusing on harvesting custard-apple at the end of the season.

Hai Phong City has 1,640 hectares of custard apples. This year, the city's custard apple output is estimated at 22,000 tons, down 0.2% over the same period last year. The reason is that during the flowering and fruiting stages, the weather is unfavorable. However, due to the application of synchronous techniques in production, the quality of Hai Phong custard apples is good, the appearance is beautiful, and they are favored by consumers.
