13 projects with total capital of nearly 30,000 billion VND are about to start construction in Hai Phong

TPO - 13 projects to develop transport infrastructure, industry, seaports, urban housing... are expected to start construction and be inaugurated at the end of this year with a total investment of nearly 30,000 billion VND.

Hai Phong City plans to commence and inaugurate 13 construction projects on December 19th, to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, with a total investment of nearly 30,000 billion VND.

Of the five projects registered for commencement with the central government, two are key transportation projects: the project to invest in infrastructure connecting stations on the line and the station square, part of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line construction project, located near the entrance to Nam Hai Duong station, in Gia Loc and Yet Kieu communes; and the project to invest in the construction of the intersection between Bui Vien Street and Le Hong Phong Street in Hai An ward.

Two urban development projects include: seven buildings from CT1 to CT8 belonging to the social housing project in the Trang Due urban-commercial and worker housing area (An Duong ward) and the mixed-use construction project at lot I.14/CTHH-01 in the North Song Cam new urban area (Thuy Nguyen ward). These two urban development and housing projects have a total investment of over 9,100 billion VND.

The project to invest in the construction and operation of infrastructure for the Luong Dien - Ngoc Lien Industrial Park (in Cam Giang commune) is invested by Luong Dien Ngoc Lien Industrial Park Joint Stock Company with a capital of over 2,100 billion VND.

In addition, Hai Phong city also plans to hold groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for 8 other projects. Among them is the project to invest in the construction of a logistics service center, oil and cargo port, oil depot, and commercial service area in Nguyen Dai Nang ward, invested by Duc Duong - Hai Phong Co., Ltd., with a total capital of nearly 2,000 billion VND.

The Nomura Industrial Park - Hai Phong infrastructure construction and operation project (phase 2) in Hong An ward is invested by Hai Phong International Industrial Park Joint Stock Company with over 4,300 billion VND.

The housing project at alley 226 Le Lai (Ngo Quyen ward) is being invested in by Kim Trang Materials Import-Export Co., Ltd. with over 5,200 billion VND.

The remaining five projects include: Construction of new buildings for emergency services, technical services, paraclinical services, examination, administration, technical services, and inpatient services at Hai Duong General Hospital; construction of a traffic intersection between Bui Vien Street and Vo Nguyen Giap Street (An Bien and Le Chan wards); construction of the An Tho industrial cluster (An Hung commune); the An Phu industrial cluster (Tran Lieu and Kinh Mon wards); and the Dung Tien - Giang Bien industrial cluster (Vinh Thuan commune), each with an investment scale of hundreds of billions of VND.
