Memories of the Fire God - The Prequel features a tribe, but the director found a way to make that tribe feel closer to Vietnamese culture by using large scaffolding made entirely of bamboo as props. When using bamboo instead of other metal materials, the crew discovered many useful properties of bamboo: it is lightweight, flexible, and strong.
This intrigued Quoc Cong, and he thought that in the future he would further develop the use of Vietnamese imagery in circus art.
