Accordingly, the Judging Council for the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Spring Newspaper Cover Awards, including leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications, members of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association (standing committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association and leaders of press agencies) and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, agreed on the awarding results for 11 beautiful and impressive Spring newspaper covers from 25 publications of Ho Chi Minh City press agencies.

Accordingly, the cover of the Spring Giap Thin 2024 newspaper with the theme "Green Flow" of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper won First Prize.
Second prize went to the Spring newspaper covers of the Lao Dong Newspaper and the Tuoi Tre Newspaper.
Third Prize was awarded to the cover of Spring Newspaper of Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City Education Magazine, and Saigon Economics Magazine.
The Encouragement Prizes went to the following newspapers: Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper (Hoa Van), Saigon Business Magazine, Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Magazine, Red Scarf (Tuoi Tre Newspaper Publication), Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Special Edition.
Every spring, the city’s newspapers and magazines publish a beautiful and impressive Spring edition. This is the most special issue of the year. The Spring edition’s cover is always invested in by the newspapers, from the idea to the elaborate and sophisticated form of expression.
With the support of the city's leaders, the annual Ho Chi Minh City Spring Newspaper Cover Award is always highly anticipated by readers and is an honor for the editorial offices when receiving the award. This year, the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association continues to organize the judging and awarding of the Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Cover Award 2024, with the criteria: Beautiful, impressive, consistent with the newspaper's purpose and imbued with the colors of Spring. Contestants are Ho Chi Minh City press agencies with Spring 2024 publications.
The 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Spring Newspaper Cover Award ceremony is expected to be held on the morning of February 5, at the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Hall (14 Alexandre de Rhodes, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
