Shipper stole a package containing 32 iPhones in Hanoi

(Dan Tri) - Lacking money to spend and pay off debts, Lam stole a package from the company. Inside the package were 32 iPhone 14 Pro Max, with a total value of about 400 million VND.


On January 27, Hai Ba Trung District Police, Hanoi City, announced that the Investigation Police Agency had prosecuted Tran Quang Lam (31 years old, in Hai Ba Trung District) and Luong Van Kien (41 years old, in Phu Xuyen District) for the crime of property theft.

According to authorities, Lam is a delivery employee of a company in Hai Ba Trung district.

Due to lack of money to spend and pay off debts, while delivering goods, Lam stole a package containing 32 iPhone 14 Pro Max, with a total value of about 400 million VND.

After stealing, Lam discussed with Kien (former colleague) to sell it.

On January 20, the company reported the incident to Minh Khai Ward Police. During the investigation, Minh Khai Ward Police and the Criminal Police Team of Hai Ba Trung District Police arrested Lam and Kien and confiscated 29 phones.
