Department of Health donates 1,000 gifts to support medical facilities affected by storms

On October 13, the Department of Health established working groups to inspect storm recovery work in many heavily affected localities.

The working group focused on the situation of medical examination and treatment ; disease prevention and control; and assessed the extent of damage to medical facilities and infrastructure at grassroots medical units.

The delegation directly inspected medical stations in the communes of Meo Vac, Dong Van, Yen Minh, Quan Ba, Bac Me, Quang Binh and Xin Man, Na Hang, Chiem Hoa... Through the survey, many commune medical stations were damaged, lacked equipment, affecting the examination and treatment of people after the storm.

In order to support the localities to stabilize soon, on this occasion, the Working Group presented 1,000 gifts to medical units. Each gift included a bag of medical medicine and essential necessities, contributing to helping medical staff and people overcome difficulties after natural disasters.
