According to Dai Ninh Hydropower Company, from 4 a.m. the same day, the water flow into the lake reached 660m³/s and continued to increase rapidly. The unit gradually increased the discharge flow: from 0 to 50m³/s at 6:30 a.m., then increased by 100m³/s every 30 minutes. By 10:30 a.m., the discharge through the dam increased from 700m³/s to 800m³/s.

Similarly, Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (the unit managing Don Duong Lake) said that at 1:00 a.m. on December 4, the water flow into the lake was 750.6 m³/s. The unit increased the discharge from 100 m³/s to 200 m³/s at 2:00 a.m., and continued to increase it to 300 m³/s at 3:00 a.m., maintaining this level until noon the same day.
In another development, at Mimosa Pass, authorities are urgently dealing with the consequences of a landslide that occurred in the early morning of December 4.
