This is one of the unique traditional cultural festivals of the people of Da Nang city, attracting thousands of local people to participate… contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendly exchanges between localities and units, and serving as an encouragement for people in the riverine region to enthusiastically participate in sports training.
This year's Lien Chieu District boat race brought together 120 athletes from 4 men's teams and 4 women's teams, representing the following units: Cam Le District, Ngu Hanh Son District, Hoa Bac and Hoa Lien communes of Hoa Vang District, and Hoa Hiep Nam and Hoa Hiep Bac wards of Lien Chieu District.
The atmosphere along both banks of the Cu De River and on the Nam O Bridge was extremely lively and exciting, filled with cheers and applause from locals and tourists.
In the final results, the Hoa Hiep Bac men's team (Lien Chieu district) and the Ngu Hanh Son district women's team won the championship.
