Standards and conditions for promotion to Editor Grade I

The draft clearly states the standards and conditions for promotion to the professional title of Editor Grade I, Code: V.11.01.01:

Currently holding the professional title of Editor Grade II, Code: V.11.01.02.

Applicants must have held the professional title of Editor Grade II or equivalent for a minimum of 6 years (72 months). If equivalent time is required, at least 1 year (12 months) must have held the professional title of Editor Grade II up to the deadline for submitting application documents for the examination or promotion consideration.

During the period of holding the professional title of Editor Grade II or equivalent, have chaired or participated in the editing of at least 2 works that have won awards at the ministerial or equivalent level or higher, or awards organized by central Party agencies, central political and social organizations, or the Vietnam Journalists Association ; or have chaired or participated in at least 2 specialized scientific research projects or programs at the ministerial, provincial or equivalent level or higher that have been issued or approved by competent authorities.

During the period of holding the professional title of Editor Grade II (or equivalent), the candidate received a commendation from the ministerial, provincial, or higher level for achievements in professional activities.

Standards and conditions for promotion to Editor Grade II

Currently holding the professional title of Editor Grade III, Code: V.11.01.03.

Applicants must have held the professional title of Editor Grade III or equivalent for a minimum of 9 years (108 months, excluding probationary or trial periods). If equivalent time is required, at least 1 year (12 months) must have held the professional title of Editor Grade III up to the deadline for submitting application documents for the examination or promotion consideration.

During their tenure as a Grade III editor or equivalent, they must have chaired or participated in editing at least one award-winning work at the ministerial, provincial, or equivalent level, or an award organized by a central Party agency, central political -social organization, or the Vietnam Journalists Association; or participated in writing a specialized paper in at least one research project or program in a specialized field at the grassroots level or higher that has been issued or approved by a competent authority.

During the period of holding the professional title of Editor Grade III (or equivalent), the candidate received a commendation from the ministerial, provincial, or higher level for achievements in professional activities.
