According to an announcement from the Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area Management Board, tourists are temporarily not allowed to register for tours connecting the Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) and Duc Thien (China) scenic areas from August 11th until further notice.
In cases where tourists have registered and paid for a tour connecting Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) and Duc Thien (China), the business should consider refunding the money or resolving the matter amicably with the customer.
Vietnam's Ban Gioc Waterfall tourist area continues to welcome visitors and tourists as usual.
Previously, Chinese media reported that the incident occurred on August 10th in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southern China. Following this, the tourist attraction in China was temporarily closed. The Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area Management Board stated that no Vietnamese tourists were involved in the incident.
