Giving 1,200 cancer insurance packages to Navy officers and soldiers

According to statistics, Vietnam is facing an alarming increase in cancer. Each year, more than 183,000 new cancer cases are diagnosed, with men accounting for a significant proportion. The main risk factors include unscientific lifestyles and harsh working environments. Among the high-risk groups, officers and soldiers of Brigade 189 and Regiment 196, Navy, stationed in Khanh Hoa are a special group. Soldiers often operate in submarines in closed environments, high pressure and lack of natural light... bringing increased health risks.

Faced with that reality, on January 20, 2025, in Khanh Hoa , the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB Bank) coordinated with MB Ageas Life Insurance Company Limited (MB Ageas Life) to organize a program to present cancer insurance packages to officers and soldiers of Brigade 189 and Regiment 196, Navy. The program with the theme "Gratitude Insurance, Steadfast Protection" had the participation of leaders of MB Bank, leaders of MB Ageas Life, representatives of the Navy stationed in the area, along with hundreds of officers and soldiers of Brigade 189 and Regiment 196. The event took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere with cultural exchange activities, New Year greetings and gift giving to soldiers. The highlight of the program was the awarding of 1,200 cancer insurance contracts named "Live Healthy and Live Well" to officers and soldiers in the two units. This is a practical and meaningful action, helping to reduce the financial burden on soldiers and their families in case of unfortunate illness.
