Strengthening state management of road traffic infrastructure

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on strengthening state management of road traffic infrastructure in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to strengthen propaganda work to people to raise awareness and responsibility in protecting land for roads and the scope of land in traffic safety corridors according to regulations.

Assign the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, local authorities at commune level and functional forces to strengthen the management of road safety corridors on national highways passing through the area.

The Department of Transport shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units, based on the direction of the Ministry of Transport, to review the connection points on national highways to issue decisions approving connection points in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 39/2021/TT-BGTVT dated December 31, 2021 of the Minister of Transport; in case it is discovered that connection points have not fully complied with the prescribed legal procedures, direct the functional forces to resolutely close the connection points immediately to ensure traffic safety. Strengthen inspection and timely detection of violations of regulations on management and exploitation of road traffic infrastructure and traffic safety corridor land; strictly handle acts of encroachment and illegal use of road land.
