Training on sustainable poverty reduction for Cao Bang commune officials

TPO - During two days (October 16 and 17), the National Agricultural Extension Center coordinated with the Cao Bang Agricultural Extension and Forestry Seed Center to organize a training course to improve the capacity of local professional staff.

The training course had over 30 participants, including agricultural extension officers, community agricultural extension officers, and poverty reduction officers working on the national sustainable poverty reduction program for the period 2021-2025 in 2025 from 5 communes: Nguyen Hue, Hoa An, Nam Tuan, Minh Tam, and Bach Dang.

The trainees received training on topics such as: agricultural extension policies on poverty reduction; the role of agricultural extension in poverty reduction; introduction of some livelihood models for the poor; agricultural extension and community development; some methods, skills and approaches to agricultural extension... In addition, the trainees also visited and learned about egg-laying chicken farming models at Bao Hung Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative; and models of clean agricultural product production in Truong Ha commune.

Through the training sessions, participants not only acquired knowledge but also discussed and shared experiences in implementing policies at the grassroots level. This was an opportunity for communes in the province to exchange and learn from each other, thereby finding solutions suitable to the specific conditions of each locality, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and moving towards stable wealth creation.
