Tay Ninh: Body found floating on the Vam Co Tay River.

At approximately 9:30 AM on August 19th, the Thạnh Phước Commune Police in Tây Ninh Province received a report from residents about a vessel drifting ashore on the Vàm Cỏ Tây River, in the Bà Luông hamlet of Thạnh Phước commune.

Accordingly, the vessel was a wooden boat approximately 4 meters long, covered in black composite material, with a broken rear rudder. Upon inspection, several personal belongings and identification documents bearing the name NTT, born in 1961, from Dong Thap province, were found on board.

The victim's family was present at the scene, awaiting the results of the investigation from the authorities.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Thạnh Phước commune police organized a search around the area but could not find Mr. T. or the engine of the vehicle.

Local residents said that no waterway traffic accidents had been reported previously. The commune police are continuing to mobilize residents to participate in the search, and are also contacting Mr. T.'s relatives to coordinate verification.

According to his relatives, Mr. T. did not have a fixed address and usually traveled by boat to cast his nets. Since the morning of August 19th, his family has been unable to contact him.

At around 9:00 AM on August 20th, the search took a new turn when residents discovered a body floating on the Vam Co Tay River, in the Ben Ke hamlet, Tan Tay commune, about 700 meters from where the vessel was found.
