The debut of the former Hanoi FC coach at his new club, SHB Da Nang, faced a slight setback when the team from the Han River conceded the first goal. In the 28th minute, foreign player Rodrigo Gonzalez weaved through the visiting team's defense and scored, giving Binh Dinh a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, SHB Da Nang played with great determination. The efforts of the team under coach Le Duc Tuan were rewarded in the 49th minute.

But the action didn't stop there. In the 78th minute, Cassio Scheid, a foreign player who had just joined SHB Da Nang, scored the decisive goal with a header inside the penalty area, securing a 2-1 victory for the team from the Han River.
This is SHB Da Nang's first victory in the LPBank V-League 2024-2025. This win gives SHB Da Nang 7 points after 12 rounds.
Coach Le Duc Tuan's team is still stuck at the bottom of the table, but they have significantly narrowed the gap with second-to-last SL Nghe An (who have 9 points). Binh Dinh, on the other hand, has 12 points, placing them 12th in the standings.
