Thanh Hoa completes site clearance for 500kV power line project

On May 30, in a quick exchange with Nguoi Dua Tin, Mr. Nguyen The Anh, Chairman of Nghi Son Town People's Committee, said that Mr. Le Vinh Tri's household in Tan Truong commune, the last household to be cleared, had agreed to relocate to make room for the 500kV line 3 project (500kV project) from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi ( Hung Yen ). In the morning of the same day, local authorities were assisting the people in dismantling and relocating their assets.

"Basically, from the beginning, the households were relatively compliant and agreed when informed about the relocation to make way for the project. However, due to some problems related to land procedures, and the fact that the household owner was also old, the work was prolonged. However, the provincial leaders were very concerned with the direction, the locality actively mobilized, propagated and at the same time created the best conditions according to the law, so the people agreed to relocate," Mr. The Anh happily informed.

Mr. Tri's family moved their assets and handed over the site to implement the project.

On May 29, Mr. Do Trong Hung, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited and encouraged Mr. Le Vinh Tri's family in Tan Truong commune who agreed to relocate to implement the project on schedule. At the same time, he highly appreciated the efforts of all levels, sectors, Party committees and authorities of Nghi Son town in propagating and mobilizing people to hand over clean land to contractors to implement the project.

Thus, as of May 30, Thanh Hoa has completed the handover of the entire site to the construction units to implement the 500kV line 3 project. This is also the commitment of Thanh Hoa province in the implementation of this key project to complete site clearance before May 30.

According to Nguoi Dua Tin's research, in the 500kV line 3 project, Thanh Hoa is the locality with the largest number of column foundations and anchoring spaces. Specifically, in Thanh Hoa, there are 299 column foundation locations and 138 anchoring spaces, with 132km of line.

Therefore, facing the pressure of urgent project progress, leaders at all levels of Thanh Hoa province have always been proactive in closely following and removing difficulties to complete site clearance work on schedule, contributing to completing the goal of energizing this national key energy project before June 30 this year.

The 500 kV line 3 project is a very important project to enhance the capacity of the 500 kV North - Central transmission grid, helping to increase the transmission capacity between the Central and Northern regions from about 2,200 MW at present to about 5,000 MW, contributing to ensuring electricity supply for the North at present and in the coming years.

The project has a total length of about 519 km, from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen), passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh , Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen. The total number of column foundations is 1,179 column foundations, with a total investment of about 22,000 billion VND. It is expected to be completed before June 30, 2024, after only about one year of implementation.
