In this remote border region, peanuts are grown by the locals on high mountain peaks, in production areas far from their homes. It is located about 4km from the commune center, with very difficult access roads. The villagers' peanut fields are quite far from the village center, covering a total area of about 6 hectares. After weeding, the peanuts are left to grow naturally until harvest time. "Each year, the peanut harvest brings my family an income of about 16-20 million VND, it's the main source of income for my family," said Ms. Moong Thi Minh from Khanh Thanh village.
