Turkish officials said on Friday that security forces had tracked the suspects to a warehouse in Istanbul's Kagithane district.
Here, they seized a large quantity of counterfeit $100 bills that were being sent to African countries.

The suspects' homes were searched, and their cash and jewelry were confiscated.
The Swedish and Ghanaian consulates, the countries whose suspects are linked to this case, have been notified of the incident.
Turkish officials said this was the largest counterfeit money shipment in the country's history.
