Weather today June 29: Rain everywhere, very heavy rain in the North

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from last night, today until tomorrow, June 30, the North will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places. Rainfall is generally from 50-120mm, locally over 250mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/3h).

Heavy rains can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas. It can also cause flash floods in small rivers and streams and landslides on steep slopes.

The meteorological agency warned that on the upper reaches of Thao River, Lo River, Cau River, Thuong River and Luc Nam River, small rivers in the North are likely to experience a flood, with flood amplitude on the rivers ranging from 2-3m.

Central region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially from Thanh Hoa to Nghe An there will be heavy rain.

The Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places in the evening. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Hanoi is cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius, highest 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Northwest region: Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 23-27 degrees Celsius, highest 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region: Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius, highest 29-32 degrees Celsius.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue, there will be clouds, showers and thunderstorms in some places, and from Thanh Hoa to Nghe An, there will be heavy rain in some places. The lowest temperature is 25-28 degrees Celsius, the highest is 32-35 degrees Celsius.

From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, there will be clouds, showers and thunderstorms in some places. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, highest 31-34 degrees Celsius.
