Cold air has affected the Northeast region and some places in the North Central region, causing scattered rain and light rain; temperatures have dropped by about 1-3 degrees Celsius; at Bach Long Vi station, there are strong Northeast winds of level 6.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that on December 4, cold air will continue to affect other places in the North Central region, then affect the Northwest region and the North of the Central Central region. On land, strong northeast winds will be at level 2-3, and coastal areas at level 3-4.

The Northern and North Central regions have scattered rain and light rain. It is cold, with some places in the mountainous areas of the North experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the Northern and North Central regions is generally 15-18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North it is generally 13-15 degrees Celsius, and in some places below 12 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area has scattered rain and light rain. Cold weather. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 15-18 degrees Celsius.

At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind is strong at level 5, sometimes at level 6, gusting to level 7, with waves 1.5-3m high and rough seas. In the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone), the Northeast wind is strong at level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, with waves 4.0-6.0m high and rough seas. In the sea from South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai and the sea north of the Central East Sea, the Northeast wind gradually increases to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, with waves 2-5m high.

Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone, in the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City, the eastern part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa, there will be moderate to heavy rain over a wide area. From early morning to the end of the night of December 4, the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the eastern part of Quang Ngai province will have rainfall ranging from 40-90mm, with some places experiencing very heavy rain of over 150mm.
From early morning until the end of December 4, the eastern provinces from Gia Lai to Dak Lak , Khanh Hoa and the eastern part of Lam Dong province will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall from 30-60mm, locally very heavy rain over 120mm. From the night of December 4, heavy rain will gradually decrease.

Warning of risk of heavy rain >100mm/3h.

In addition, on the day and night of December 4, the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall from 10-30mm, with some places having heavy rain over 60mm.

From December 5, heavy rain in the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the East of Quang Ngai province tends to decrease.

Highest temperature: North 24-27 degrees Celsius, South 27-29 degrees Celsius, some places above 29 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms; especially in the East of the provinces from Gia Lai to Lam Dong, there will be scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms at night. Northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Southern Vietnam

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees Celsius, some places above 32 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Ho Chi Minh City

Lowest temperature: 23-25 ​​degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 29-31 degrees Celsius.
