Basic information about the Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

The Young Parliamentarians Forum is a mechanism established within the Inter- Parliamentary Union (IPU) since 2013, aiming to contribute to increasing the quantity and quality of youth participation in parliaments and in the IPU. In 2014, the IPU established the annual Global Young Parliamentarians' Meeting mechanism to contribute to: Strengthening the role of young parliamentarians and youth participation in parliamentary activities and making recommendations from the youth perspective on IPU activities and agenda; Building networks, solidarity and capacity building, expanding youth approaches to issues of common concern.
