Basic information about the Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

The Young Parliamentarians Forum is a mechanism established within the framework of the Inter- Parliamentary Union (IPU) since 2013, aiming to contribute to increasing the quantity and quality of youth participation in parliaments and in the IPU. In 2014, the IPU established the annual Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians to contribute to: Strengthening the role of young parliamentarians and youth participation in parliamentary activities and providing recommendations from a youth perspective on the activities and agenda of the IPU; Building networks, fostering solidarity and enhancing capacity, and broadening the approach of young people to issues of common concern.
