This is false information, causing public confusion, affecting the direction and management of storm prevention No. 12 of the Da Nang city government.

At noon on October 22nd, the Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism affirmed that the information circulating on social media about the City People's Committee issuing a directive to suspend work and halt market operations from the afternoon of October 22nd due to Typhoon No. 12 is fake and untrue.

These are false and misleading pieces of information that are causing public panic and affecting the leadership and management of the Da Nang city government's response to Typhoon No. 12.

Authorities will strictly enforce the law against those who spread or share false information.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that citizens, organizations, and businesses monitor official information regarding the response to Typhoon No. 12 and the heavy rainfall on the Da Nang City Electronic Information Portal ( https://danang.gov.vn ), the city's electronic information portal's social media ecosystem, and central and local press agencies, in order to promptly understand and correctly implement the government's directives.

Authorities advise the public to be vigilant and refrain from sharing or spreading unverified information to avoid causing panic in the community.
