Specifically, on October 16, Kim Dong Primary School (Ngọk Tụ Commune) sent a report to the Party Committee, People's Committee and Commune Police about a student suspected of being lured into a car by a stranger to be taken away. The parent who reported the incident was Ms. YH, mother of NXH (class 4A2). According to the student's description, while waiting for relatives to pick him up at noon on October 15, two men in a white car stopped on the street. When they saw the student playing at the fence outside next to the garage, they approached NXH and asked her parents to pick her up, while also trying to entice her. Student H bit the subject's hand and then ran back into the school.

Kim Dong Primary School provided the schoolyard camera footage to the authorities for verification and investigation. The incident caused public panic, making many parents worried about the safety of their children while waiting for relatives to pick them up.

However, through the investigation and verification process, the police of Ngok Tu commune confirmed that the information about a stranger luring students onto the bus was incorrect. The People's Committee of Ngok Tu commune also said that it would send a document to the school and villages to inform people, to avoid causing panic among the public.

Also on October 16, at Le Quy Don Primary School, Dak To commune, there was information spreading on social networks about "a man standing in front of the school gate pretending to be a parent to kidnap students".

After verifying with the authorities, Le Quy Don Primary School confirmed that the information spread on social networks is not true; at the same time, it recommends that parents verify the information before reading or sharing it on social networks, to avoid causing confusion for students, teachers and the public.
