My wife and I, along with the high-ranking delegation of the Lao Party and State, have returned home safely. On behalf of the delegation, I would like to sincerely thank Comrade General Secretary and President To Lam and the leaders of the Party, State and people of our fraternal Vietnam, especially the people of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, for giving our delegation a warm, respectful, close, and comradely and brotherly welcome during our State visit to Vietnam.

I am very impressed and appreciate the results of the state visit and the meeting between the two Politburoes of Laos and Vietnam this time as well as the profound and frank exchanges of opinions and the high consensus between the senior leaders of our two Parties and States in assessing the results of bilateral cooperation in recent times as well as the commitment to continue to protect, promote and nurture the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Laos - Vietnam, Vietnam - Laos to increasingly develop to new heights, comprehensively connecting the two economies of Laos - Vietnam, strengthening and exploiting the strengths of each country, helping each other to develop together, bringing practical benefits to the people of our two countries, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Wishing General Secretary and President To Lam, his wife and other senior leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam good health, happiness and success in their noble positions.
