Synchronously implement solutions to maximize the completion of socio-economic targets for 2025

Dong Thap Departments, branches and localities in the province will focus on responsibilities and synchronously deploy solutions to best fulfill socio-economic targets in 2025.

To ensure the highest completion of the targets and tasks of the 2025 socio -economic development plan, Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai has just signed Document No. 2081/UBND-TH dated December 6, 2025 requesting heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards to continue to uphold the responsibility of leaders, promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, focus on comprehensively and effectively implementing the Resolutions and Conclusions of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Party Committee.

In particular, the organization thoroughly grasps and gives top priority to the smooth, effective and efficient operation of the two-level local government model. Determined to build a creative, streamlined, modern and effective government, taking people's satisfaction as a measure, creating a solid driving force for socio-economic development.

At the same time, strengthen discipline, promote the role and responsibility of leaders in directing and operating socio-economic development tasks, focus on directing the synchronous, drastic and effective implementation of targets, tasks and solutions assigned by the Provincial People's Committee; strive to achieve and exceed socio-economic development targets in 2025.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province assigned the responsibility to the Department of Finance to monitor and advise on overall solutions in managing and implementing tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2025, focusing on groups of targets with low progress, striving to complete targets with the highest results. The Department of Agriculture and Environment focuses on synchronously and effectively implementing the plan to prevent and control diseases on crops and livestock in the last months of 2025. Continue to closely monitor and report accurately and promptly on weather and natural disaster developments so that authorities and people at all levels know and proactively respond appropriately.

In addition, projects and works on natural disaster prevention and control, landslides, dike maintenance, irrigation upgrades, flood drainage and drought prevention will be implemented. At the same time, coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and wards to strengthen advocacy, propaganda, and promptly resolve difficulties and problems so that households in dangerous landslide areas can move to safe places.

The Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for synchronously implementing solutions to promote industrial, trade and service growth, completing the annual plan with growth rates of 11.5% and 9.2% respectively; export turnover reaching over 9.2 billion USD. Monitoring the progress of key private investment projects that have been approved by competent authorities and scheduled to be completed in 2025; the operation of existing industrial clusters, establishing new industrial clusters when qualified investors register to implement the project, meeting the requirements of local industrial development.

In addition, the leaders of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee also directed the Department of Construction, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command... to focus on implementing key tasks to best complete the socio-economic development targets for 2025.
