Standing Committee of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee met to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee extended its best wishes and acknowledged the efforts of the agencies responsible for guiding and managing the press, news agencies, and the team of journalists, reporters, editors, and media professionals in the province over the past period.

Currently, there are approximately 20 central and local news agencies and media outlets in the province. Over the years, journalistic work and the activities of journalists in the province have achieved many important results, contributing positively to the successful implementation of the province's key political tasks; creating social consensus, strengthening the trust of cadres, Party members, and the people in the leadership of Party committees at all levels and the management and administration of the government at all levels, making many important contributions to the province's development.

Representatives of the provincial press agencies respectfully thank the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, the departments, agencies, organizations, and localities in the province for their attention, guidance, direction, and coordination in creating a favorable environment and conditions for press agencies and journalists to operate and work.

Sharing their thoughts, aspirations, difficulties, hardships, and pressures in carrying out their information and propaganda tasks, representatives of press agencies also presented several proposals and recommendations to the provincial leaders, such as: approving economic and technical norms, unit prices, and developing a plan for the future development of Ninh Binh Newspaper; paying attention to appointing a full-time Vice Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association in the new term; reforming the financial management mechanism in press agencies in the province; and focusing on providing official, timely, accurate, and objective information to reporters to create high-quality journalistic works.

To further enhance the role and mission of the press in the revolutionary cause of the Party, the renewal of the country and the province, at the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mai Van Tuat, requested that press agencies continue to perform their functions and tasks well; and do a good job of advising and coordinating with press agencies at the central and local levels.

Continue to innovate in terms of content, form, and structure of newspapers and radio and television programs, while gradually improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work and maintaining political orientation; proactively and actively advise on building a team of management staff to meet the requirements of journalistic development; coordinate and propose policies and regulations to attract talented journalists to work in the province.

Regularly taking care of the material and spiritual well-being of cadres, members, reporters, editors, and employees, creating conditions for everyone to work with peace of mind and successfully complete their assigned tasks, so that each person truly becomes a soldier on the ideological and cultural front of the Party.

Focus on coordinating and advising on the implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy for Journalism until 2025, with a vision to 2030, building the province's media agencies in a professional, humane, and modern direction; fulfilling the mission of information and propaganda to serve the political tasks of Ninh Binh province; and ensuring the role of leading and guiding public opinion.

Focus on comprehensively disseminating information about events and activities in the political-economic, cultural-social, and national defense-security fields of the country and the province. Intensify propaganda about Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 23rd Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress; the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, linked with the education and dissemination of the contents of the Provincial Urban Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050...

We strive to produce many valuable and high-quality journalistic works to serve the province's political tasks and participate in the National Journalism Award on Party Building, the Political Commentary Competition on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation, and other journalism awards organized by the Central Government.

Departments, agencies, districts, and cities should strictly adhere to regulations regarding public statements and information provision to the press; and closely coordinate with news agencies and the press to effectively carry out their propaganda tasks.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department continues to effectively fulfill its role as an advisory body to the Provincial Party Committee on directing and guiding media agencies to operate in accordance with their stated objectives and legal regulations, actively combating and refuting false and hostile viewpoints, fake news, malicious news, and harmful news; and coordinating the effective implementation of the tasks of the Provincial and District-level Steering Committee 35 and the Steering Committee for External Information Work in the province.

The Department of Information and Communications continues to effectively fulfill its function of advising the Provincial People's Committee on state management of the press. It actively coordinates with and supports local press agencies in implementing the digital transformation strategy in journalistic activities until 2025, with a vision to 2030, within the province, contributing to the further socio-economic development of the province.
