According to Lieutenant General Le Minh Thai, Director of the Military Technical Academy, in its development orientation, the Academy aims to be among the top universities in science and technology in the country by 2030, and to become one of the leading advanced universities in the region by 2045.

Therefore, planning adjustment is necessary to meet development orientations, create a working, teaching, research, training and living environment for staff, lecturers and students, and meet the increasing training needs of the Academy.

The plan to adjust the planning of the two Xuan Phuong and Yen Xuan barracks aims to serve the task of training and coaching a team of engineers and high-quality human resources to serve the Army and the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country; at the same time, carry out the tasks of scientific research, technology application and transfer, international cooperation, contributing to the development of the defense industry.

According to the Academy's report, the plan to adjust the planning is based on the viewpoint of respecting the current status, retaining as many items as possible that are operating well, ensuring comprehensive response to 4 basic aspects of work: Military, politics, logistics, and engineering, with a synchronous space and general landscape, ensuring aesthetics and suitability.

The landscape after adjustment will be spacious and convenient for staff, lecturers, and students of the school in the process of working, studying, and living; harmoniously integrating the works and maximizing the use of functions.

Concluding the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San requested the General Department of Logistics and Technology, the Military Technical Academy and relevant authorities to continue to coordinate closely, research and develop plans to adjust the planning to ensure it is suitable for the area and location of the military base. Functional subdivisions and constructions need to create a bright, green, clean and beautiful landscape environment; maximize the use of functions, ensure convenience for officers, lecturers and students in working, studying and living.
