According to a report from Ban Ve Hydropower Company at 1:30 PM on September 29, 2025, the total water inflow into the reservoir was 2,100 m³/s. However, to support the downstream area severely flooded due to prolonged heavy rain, the plant only released a total of 338 m³/s, corresponding to a flood reduction rate of nearly 84%. Of this, 165 m³/s flowed through the turbines, and the remaining 173 m³/s was released through the spillway.

Typhoon No. 10 caused widespread heavy rainfall, with the amount of rain measured at the plant area from 0:00 to 13:00 on the same day reaching 138.6mm. The current water level in the reservoir is 193.85m, still lower than the normal water level (200m), indicating that the reservoir still has the capacity to continue flood control if the weather situation continues to be complicated in the coming days.
The proactive reduction of high-level flood discharges clearly demonstrates the positive regulatory role of Ban Ve Hydropower Company in disaster prevention and control, contributing to minimizing risks for downstream areas. Currently, the company is continuing to closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant agencies to monitor rainfall and flood developments, ensuring safe, efficient, and appropriate reservoir operation.
