Pioneer in propaganda and streamlining the apparatus

(CLO) At a meeting with five key political press agencies, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, highly appreciated the pioneering role of press agencies in propaganda work and streamlining the apparatus.

On March 26th, in Hanoi , Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, chaired a working session with five key political media agencies to assess the results of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus of these five agencies in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee, as well as information and propaganda work and preparations for the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day.

According to a report by Comrade Tong Van Thanh, Director of the Press and Publishing Department of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the five key media agencies (Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, and Voice of Vietnam Radio ) have urgently, seriously, and decisively carried out the restructuring and streamlining of their organizational apparatus.

The agencies have also closely followed the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and decisions, proactively developing plans and implementing information and propaganda work in a systematic, scientific, and in-depth manner, creating a strong ripple effect.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, shared that Nhan Dan Newspaper has reduced its affiliated units from 25 to 15, arranged work for more than 200 cadres, reporters, and staff of Nhan Dan Television, and received 51 cadres and reporters from the Vietnam Communist Party's online newspaper. The newspaper has also made early preparations for its propaganda plans for major holidays.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that the entire country is undergoing a "revolution" to streamline the apparatus, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency. In this context, the central government's key political press agencies have clearly demonstrated their pioneering role in propaganda work, contributing to guiding thought and action and strengthening the confidence of cadres, Party members, and the people.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the spirit of frank and responsible exchange and acknowledged the contributions of the delegates. He emphasized that the leading political press agencies have strived to successfully complete their key tasks; increasingly demonstrating political acumen, pioneering spirit, professionalism, and fighting spirit.

Regarding the country's major tasks, especially the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that key media agencies clearly define their roles and responsibilities in order to develop diverse, rich, and effective propaganda plans, correctly guide public opinion, and contribute to strengthening the political determination of the entire political system, consolidating the people's trust in the Party's leadership in the new development stage.
