Nearly two days after the accident, the bodies of two eighth-grade male students were found on the beach in Cuong Gian commune (Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province ).
This morning (October 24th), Mr. Hoang Van Ha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cuong Gian commune, confirmed that the bodies of the two missing male students at Xuan Thanh beach have been found on the beach.
At around 6 am on the same day, people exercising discovered two bodies floating in Bac Moi and Dong Tay hamlets (Cuong Gian commune) and reported it to the authorities.
Authorities have identified the bodies as those of Dang Tien D. and Tran Phuoc S. (8th grade students at Nguyen Trai Secondary School) who went missing at sea off Xuan Thanh on the afternoon of October 22nd.
The bodies of the two male students have now been handed over to their families for burial.
Earlier, at around 4 PM on October 22nd, after school, D. and S. went to Xuan Thanh beach to play. Later, when the children did not return home, their families organized a search and reported the matter to the authorities.
