A unit has successfully acquired the broadcasting rights for the AFC U-23 Asian Championship in Vietnam.
Vietnam Satellite Digital Television Company Limited (K+) has reached a broadcasting rights agreement with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), making K+ the sole broadcaster in Vietnam for all matches of the 2026 AFC U-23 Championship – a top-priority youth football tournament in Asia, and also the qualifying round for the 2028 Olympics.

With its strong broadcasting infrastructure, technical team, and experience in organizing sports media, K+ delivers a sharp HD image experience and vibrant sound for fans.
Matches involving Vietnam U.23 and strong teams such as Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc., will be broadcast live and in full on K+SPORT1, K+SPORT2 channels and the K+ digital application.
The 2026 AFC U-23 Championship will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 1-25, 2026, bringing together 16 of the continent's strongest U-23 teams, including the host nation and 15 teams that have just finished their qualifying rounds: Jordan (Group A), Japan (Group B), Vietnam (Group C), Australia, China (Group D), Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan (Group E), Thailand, Lebanon (Group F), Iraq (Group G), Qatar (Group H), Iran, UAE (Group I), South Korea (Group J), and Syria (Group K).
The top three teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
If other media outlets in Vietnam express interest in broadcasting the tournament, K+ will consider it, and negotiations may be held to reach a mutually beneficial decision.
