Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee draws experience from the model congress of Don Duong Commune Party Committee

Immediately after the success of the 1st Congress of Don Duong Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee organized a Conference to draw experience in leadership, direction and organization of the grassroots party congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending and presiding over the conference were comrades Nguyen Hoa Binh , Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Deputy Prime Minister; Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department; Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province; Nguyen Hoai Anh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen Van Hoi, Member of the Central Inspection Committee.

Attending the Conference were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of the Party Building Departments, the Provincial Political School, and the Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio, and Television.

The conference was connected online to 123 locations in communes, wards, and special zones throughout the province.

At the conference, Comrade Ton Thien Dong, Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, gave a brief report on the results of the pilot Party Congress of Don Duong commune, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, following the directives of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Don Duong commune recognized the purpose, significance, and importance of the pilot congress and therefore seriously implemented and followed the procedures in its organization and execution.

Comrade Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department, delivered a speech outlining lessons to be learned at the conference.

The preparation and organization of the congress were carried out seriously, emphasizing the responsibility of the Party committees, gathering the wisdom of cadres and Party members; creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm, democracy, and unity before, during, and after the congress.

The documents submitted to the congress were meticulously prepared in terms of content. The process of soliciting feedback on the documents followed the correct procedures and guidelines from higher-level Party committees. The congress's agenda and operational plan were prepared in detail, anticipating potential situations and outlining specific solutions.

Comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Central Inspection Committee, delivered a speech contributing his opinions at the conference.

Don Duong commune focuses on propaganda work, launching emulation campaigns to fulfill key tasks and building practical projects to celebrate the congress.

The solemn and dignified atmosphere of the congress had a positive impact on agencies, units, and localities. Delegates and party members attending the congress basically exercised their rights and responsibilities in all aspects of the congress's organization. Facilities and logistical support were well-prepared and thorough.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Phap, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Thuan Ward, contributed his opinions and lessons learned from the Congress.

The Head of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department also pointed out several areas that need attention. Specifically, the Presidium still uses some colloquial language, leading to a lack of formality, coherence, and decisiveness. The arrangement, suggestions, and time allocated for discussion and exchange were not truly lively. The political report and the self-criticism report were lengthy, with overlapping content, and the data supporting some areas were not specific enough; the breakthroughs in development were scattered and not clearly defined...

Based on the strengths and weaknesses observed during the pilot Party Congress of Don Duong commune, the Provincial Party Standing Committee outlined several tasks requiring the Party Committees of communes, wards, and special zones under its jurisdiction to implement immediately after the pilot congress.

Delegates listened to the opinions of central and Lam Dong provincial leaders at the experience-sharing conference.

During the conference, delegates noted that the reports presented at the congress were still traditional, lengthy, and lacked specificity. The documents needed appendices and tables to accompany the results and future directions. Targets should be accompanied by clear solutions. The responses and explanations to the feedback on the draft documents for the First Congress of the Don Duong Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, were unclear and lacking in detail. The presentations should be closely linked to the implementation of local tasks in the coming period...

Based on the lessons learned from the First Congress of the Don Duong Commune Party Committee, localities will make adjustments to develop operational scenarios, improve preparation, and ensure the successful organization of their congresses.

Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Member of the Political Bureau and Standing Deputy Prime Minister, congratulated the First Congress of the Don Duong Commune Party Committee on its successful conclusion. The Standing Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the efforts, dedication, and sense of responsibility of the Standing Committee of the Don Duong Commune Party Committee in leading and directing the organization of the pilot congress. The application of digital technology and online connectivity to 123 commune-level locations during the pilot congress was highly appreciated.

Agreeing with the opinions discussed by delegates at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh noted that localities need to strengthen propaganda and decoration so that the congress is not only an important political event of the Party, but also a shared joy of the people. Localities should launch emulation movements and projects to celebrate the congress, closely linked to serving the lives of the people, creating a general atmosphere throughout society. The action program needs to clearly define responsibilities and tasks, enhancing the actionability of the congress documents...

Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Lam Dong Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly, received the opinions of the Central leaders at the conference.

Responding to the directives of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, expressed gratitude for the attention of the Central leaders in the preparation and organization of the province's pilot congress, especially for their frank suggestions that the Provincial Party Standing Committee could learn from for subsequent congresses.
