Attending were member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai, along with leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, local departments, agencies, organizations and 150 delegates representing outstanding collectives and individuals in the area.

In the past period, many emulation movements in Kim Long have made a clear mark, especially the movement "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind". Up to now, the whole ward has only 89 poor households, accounting for 0.73%, a decrease of 178 households compared to 2021. Policy credit programs have lent nearly 30 poor, near-poor, and newly escaped-poverty households with a turnover of more than 1,358 billion VND. The "For the Poor" Fund also supported the construction and repair of houses for 119 households with a total cost of 2.85 billion VND. Every year on the occasion of Tet, hundreds of gifts have been given to poor and near-poor households, along with many rewards to encourage students to overcome difficulties and study well.

The movement “The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses” has been strongly implemented. In 2025 alone, the ward eliminated 35 temporary houses for meritorious and disadvantaged households with a total cost of nearly 2 billion VND, and at the same time supported more than 700 million VND to build and repair houses for 28 policy families.

The movement "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure" has brought a new look to Kim Long. A series of key projects such as the renovation of the walking route along the Huong River, Nguyen Hoang Bridge, Nguyen Hoang Street or the embankment project to prevent erosion on the Bach Yen Riverbank have created a driving force for development and raised the urban appearance. To date, 36/38 residential groups of the ward have been recognized as meeting cultural standards.

Many other movements have been effectively implemented such as "All people protect national security", "Pink color of the Ancient Capital", "Clever mass mobilization to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Green Sunday"... contributing to connecting the community, building a civilized, safe and unique lifestyle.

In the period of 2026 - 2030, the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Kim Long ward determined to continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of emulation and reward work; develop the patriotic movement widely, contributing to building a civilized locality rich in identity, becoming a dynamic urban area of ​​the center of Hue city.

On this occasion, Kim Long Ward People's Committee awarded 5 typical advanced collectives and 8 individuals, recognizing their practical contributions to the common development of the community.
