On December 12th, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly held the closing ceremony of the online interactive quiz competition to learn about the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and coordination of the Committee on Culture and Society, the Central Youth Union, the National Assembly Office, and related agencies in organizing the competition; commended the enthusiastic response of young people nationwide, especially members of the armed forces, along with the contributions of Youth Union officials and experts; and congratulated the outstanding contestants and the collectives and individuals who received awards for their contributions to the success of the competition.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly was particularly impressed with the strong impact of the competition, which garnered over 7.3 million entries in just six months after its launch. Many localities and units achieved very high participation rates, demonstrating the deep interest, learning spirit, patriotism, sense of responsibility, and political awareness of today's young generation. This was also the first competition to explore the concept of digital transformation, showcasing the pioneering spirit of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Regiment in tackling new and challenging tasks.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union continue to promote and expand the success of the competition among young people; diversify models of propaganda about history, constitutionalism, legislation, and the organization and operation of the National Assembly, especially on digital platforms, in accordance with the way young people access information today.

Simultaneously, media outlets maintain and develop specialized pages, sections, and media products about the National Assembly, thereby contributing to fostering the people's affection, pride, and trust. Every youth union member, regardless of their position or circumstances, continuously studies and improves their legal knowledge, nurtures revolutionary ideals, aspires to excel, and dedicates themselves to the nation and serves the people.

In response to the demands of the new era, an era of national progress, the Vietnamese National Assembly needs to continue reforming its organization and working methods, enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency in fulfilling its functions and duties. On this journey, today's young generation of Vietnam is the vanguard force, possessing intellect, courage, and aspirations to build the country. The National Assembly is always ready to accompany, listen to, and create conditions for young people to contribute their role, intellect, and responsibility to the common cause of the nation, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized.

According to Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, digital transformation has been fully utilized in the competition. Thanks to this, content on law and historical documents, often considered dry, has been "softened," becoming more lively and relatable through the design of questions and answer formats on a technological platform, suitable for the social media usage habits of young people. This innovation has created a strong appeal, attracting a large number of Youth Union members and young people to participate, demonstrating that today's youth are not indifferent to politics or the fate of the country. Young people come to the competition with the mindset of responsible digital citizens, ready to contribute their intellect to the nation's new era.

According to the organizers, the competition will be held over six months in two consecutive stages. Stage 1 will take place first, from June 2nd, 2025 to November 11th, 2025, consisting of 23 weeks of online multiple-choice tests on the "Vietnamese Youth" application and the website thitructuyen.doanthanhnien.vn. Each week will focus on a specific theme, and participants who answer 7 out of 10 questions correctly will receive an online certificate. During this stage, the competition attracted over 7.3 million entries.

Phase 2, held consecutively from October 14, 2025 to December 2, 2025, consisted of 8 weeks of interactive online competition broadcast on the Central Youth Union's digital platforms. Participants answered questions via live comments and received prizes if they answered correctly and fastest. This phase recorded over 1.8 million views, interactions, and comments on Facebook.

The success of the competition not only demonstrates the effectiveness of digital transformation in communication work, but also affirms the sense of responsibility, courage, and aspiration to contribute of the young generation of Vietnam in the new era.

The achievements will serve as a foundation for all levels of the Youth Union to continue innovating educational methods, disseminating knowledge about the National Assembly and the law, and contributing to fostering patriotism, national pride, and digital citizenship awareness among today's youth.
