To ensure that textbooks are supplied adequately and with guaranteed quality, and to prevent delays or shortages before the start of the new school year, the Department of General Education (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training) requests that principals of general education institutions provide information on the list of textbooks for subjects and educational activities at their respective institutions for the 2025-2026 school year on the website https://quanly.hcm.edu.vn/.
Schools must complete the publication of the list of textbooks for all subjects and educational activities in the 2025-2026 school year before August 20th.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requires all units to have plans in place to ensure full provision of textbooks for students from disadvantaged backgrounds (poor or near-poor households) and students from difficult circumstances.
Schools will send information to the Department of General Education as soon as there are cases of parents or students experiencing difficulties in purchasing textbooks.
Compile a list of students from impoverished households (with supporting documents) who have not yet received textbook support and submit it to the department for further research and development of support options.
Purchase the full quantity of textbooks (according to the list approved by the Ministry of Education and Training ) for the library.
Organize and mobilize all social forces to donate textbooks to students in difficult circumstances; encourage students to donate used (but still good) textbooks to the library for students to borrow, ensuring that 100% of students have sufficient textbooks.
