Providing support to people injured by fallen trees

On the afternoon of October 28, Mr. Vo Trong Tai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Hoa Ward (HCMC) met and presented gifts to two people injured by fallen trees.

The two supported cases are Ms. Pham Ngoc Hien (Tan Hoa neighborhood) and Tran Tuan Anh, a 5th grade student.

Dong Hoa ward leaders presented gifts to support 2 cases

Chairman of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee Vo Trong Tai said that the ward always cares, shares, and supports people facing difficulties and misfortunes due to natural disasters, storms and floods, demonstrating the spirit of "the government accompanies the people" in all circumstances.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 1, heavy rain and strong winds broke many trees in Dong Hoa ward, including 2 tamarind trees. Tuan Anh and Mrs. Hien were injured by the falling tamarind trees and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Immediately after the incident, the leaders of Dong Hoa ward directly went to the hospital to visit, encourage and provide initial support to the two injured people; at the same time, directed the forces to immediately implement pruning, cleaning up the scene, collecting fallen trees for disposal. Organized the installation of traffic safety warning signs in areas at risk of incidents.
