Presenting 38 gifts to encourage poor students before the new school year

On the afternoon of September 4, Na Co Sa Border Guard Station (Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard) organized the awarding of 38 gifts to poor students with especially difficult circumstances in the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of the Border Guard Station", the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" and the model "Godparents and godmothers connect love" before the new school year.

At the meeting, the unit presented gifts to 2 adopted children of the Border Guard Station; 3 gifts to students in the "Helping children go to school" program; 3 gifts under the "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" project and 30 gifts to students under the "Godmother connecting love" model, each gift worth 1.5 million VND, with a total value of 57 million VND.

Major Nguyen Dinh Hung, Political Commissar of the Border Guard Station, presented gifts to encourage students before the new school year.

Speaking at the program, Major Nguyen Dinh Hung - Political Commissar of Na Co Sa Border Post affirmed: "Caring for and accompanying students in difficult circumstances is to contribute to 'nurturing the green buds of the future', building a solid national border defense. The gifts, although not of great material value, contain the feelings and responsibilities of border guards, contributing to encouraging, adding confidence and determination for the students to firmly step on the path of learning".

The program has received attention and close coordination from Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front , local departments, branches, and organizations, as well as representatives of schools and parents.

Two young children, adopted children of the Border Guard Station, also received gifts of encouragement.

This is not only an annual activity, but also demonstrates the close military-civilian relationship, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of the Border Guard in social security work, caring for the younger generation.
