According to Ms. Bun Som Lao, the Krong Na commune authorities broadcast an announcement on the commune's public address system about the reward offer so that people would be aware and participate in the search. However, the villagers still believe that finding the plane is the most important thing, and the sooner the better.

"The local authorities have mobilized people to prepare boats and canoes to support the forces crossing the Serepok River to the other side to search for the Yak-130 aircraft," said Ms. Bun Som Lao.

Mr. Hoang Trung Nghia, Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Don district, also said that from yesterday to this morning, the locality has mobilized nearly 500 people (including various forces) to coordinate with functional agencies to urgently search for the Yak-130 aircraft, but so far there have been no results.

Regarding the suspected crash of a Yak-130 aircraft in Buon Don district, a leader of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command informed VietNamNet reporters that this is a rugged mountainous area with very weak phone signals, making communication or the use of drones very difficult, thus creating many disadvantages for the search operation.

As reported by VietNamNet, on November 6th, the 940th Air Regiment, Air Force Officer School, Air Defense - Air Force Command, organized a training flight at Phu Cat airport with a Yak-130 aircraft (serial number 210D).

The aircraft, performing flight 208, a long-distance, high-altitude, cloud-penetrating flight under complex meteorological conditions, was piloted by Colonel Nguyen Van Son, Regiment Commander, in the front cockpit, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quan, Flight Chief, in the rear cockpit.

The aircraft took off at 9:55 AM and landed at 10:38 AM. Upon completion of the landing exercise, the pilot reported that the landing gear was not deploying and attempted emergency landing gear deployment procedures, but without success.

The pilots reported to the flight commander and were given permission to parachute. Both pilots parachuted at 10:51 AM in the TB2 firing range area, Tay Son, Binh Dinh.

By the evening of November 6th, both pilots contacted their unit to report their location, and the search team quickly brought them back to safety.
